– The Kaysville Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the driver involved in a hit-and-run accident that occurred on Wednesday, March 8, 2023. The incident took place at approximately 6:00 p.m. on Main Street near 300 West. According to witnesses, a pedestrian was crossing the street when they were struck by a dark-colored SUV. The vehicle did not stop after the collision and fled the scene. The pedestrian, a 56-year-old male, sustained serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Investigators have gathered limited information about the suspect vehicle, which is described as a dark-colored SUV with possible damage to the front bumper. At approximately 6:30 PM, a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle while crossing the street at the intersection of Main Street and Center Street. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene without stopping or rendering aid to the victim. The pedestrian, a 55-year-old woman, sustained serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital. The suspect vehicle is described as a dark-colored sedan, possibly a Toyota Camry or Honda Accord. It has damage to the front bumper and windshield.
