PIAA Announces Quarterfinals, Times for 2024 State Softball Playoffs

(Harrisburg, PA) – The Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) has released the quarterfinal pairings and game times for the 2024 state softball playoffs. The quarterfinals will be held on Tuesday, June 11th, at various sites across the state.

Class A Quarterfinals

* No. 1 Southern Lehigh (District 11) vs. No. 8 Kane (District 9) – 2:00 PM at Mansion Park, Altoona * No. 4 York Catholic (District 3) vs. No. 5 Juniata Valley (District 6) – 2:00 PM at Bedford High School

Class AA Quarterfinals

* No. 1 Lewisburg (District 4) vs. No. 8 Central Cambria (District 6) – 2:00 PM at Indiana University of Pennsylvania * No. 4 Forest Hills (District 7) vs. No. 5 North East (District 10) – 2:00 PM at Slippery Rock University

Class AAA Quarterfinals

* No. 1 Mount St. Joseph Academy (District 12) vs. No. 8 Freedom (District 7) – 2:00 PM at Penn State University, University Park * No. 4 Belle Vernon (District 7) vs. No. 5 Hamburg (District 3) – 2:00 PM at Shippensburg University

Class AAAA Quarterfinals

* No. 1 North Allegheny (District 7) vs. No. 8 Pennridge (District 1) – 2:00 PM at Villanova University * No. 4 Council Rock North (District 1) vs. No. 5 Hempfield (District 3) – 2:00 PM at Neshaminy High School The winners of the quarterfinal games will advance to the state semifinals, which will be held on Thursday, June 13th, at Beard Field in State College. The state championship games will be played on Saturday, June 15th, at Penn State University, University Park.
