Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has declared his team’s unwavering commitment to battling for the Premier League crown until the very last game.
Sunday’s thrilling 3-2 victory against Tottenham secured Arsenal’s place at the top of the table, but Manchester City still holds the edge due to fewer dropped points throughout the season.
Learning from past failings, Arteta insists his players won’t hand City any favors. He expects them to push relentlessly for wins in their remaining fixtures.
“Absolutely, there’s no doubt my players are ready to fight until the final whistle,” Arteta affirmed in an interview with the Daily Mail. “I’ve instilled that mentality in them all season long. Their daily performances fuel my belief.”
“The upcoming matches present a fantastic opportunity, and everyone expects them to give their all,” Arteta continued.
“I have immense faith in this squad. They haven’t given me a single reason to doubt them. We’ve had a mentally taxing month, but during training on Saturday, I had to call a halt because they craved more. That’s an excellent sign.”
