Chelsea coach Mauricio Pochettino has said he is still in the dark about his future, despite having dinner with club president Todd Bely.
Chelsea finished the 2023/24 season in a very positive way, finally defeating Bournemouth 2-1 and finishing sixth in the Premier League.
According to rumors, now the Chelsea management is going to analyze the season and evaluate the work done by Pochettino, but Mauricio does not yet know what verdict will be rendered against him.
“I do not know what will happen. I don’t have any ideas about that. All I can tell you is that Todd invited me to dinner on Friday night, and it was a very nice dinner together.”
“But I don’t know anything about these rumors about the assessment. My staff is leaving tomorrow to rest. I’m staying in London for a few more days. I am always open to dialogue. My phone will be on.”
“What was the meeting with Beli about? It’s enough for you to know that I was with him. I’m not going to talk about what. If I invite you and we have dinner together, it’s not for a bad reason. I think so,” Pochettino is quoted as saying by The Guardian.
