Liverpool won 2-0 over Wolverhampton in their last match under Jurgen Klopp.
Wolverhampton had to defend a lot from the very beginning of the match, and in the 28th minute the Wolves’ situation worsened because, after the intervention of VAR, Nelson Semedo received a direct red card for rough play against Alexis McAllister.
Just a few minutes later, McAllister opened the scoring with a header that closed Harvey Elliott’s serve 1-0.
Before the break, Liverpool managed to realize the numerical advantage once again. Mohamed Salah threw the ball into the goalkeeper’s box after giving a corner, and Jarrell Kuansa hit the target at point—blank range – 2-0.
The second half became a formality. The Anfield stands were more focused on Klopp’s send-off than the game.
