Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka misses the match of the final round of the Premier League against Everton due to a muscle injury.
When Arsenal announced their bid for Sunday’s match, the 22-year-old Saka, who has scored 20 goals this season, was unexpectedly not there.
It turns out that Bucayo’s absence is not due to his forced substitution against Manchester United last weekend, but to an injury sustained in training, the Evening Standard reports.
“Unfortunately, he suffered a minor muscle injury in training. He can’t play, but fortunately we have great players and Martinelli will replace him,” Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta said before the match.
Let’s add that now the injury to the Sack will become a headache for England’s coxswain Gareth Southgate, who is preparing to announce his bid for Euro 2024.
