Manchester United winger Jaydon Sancho will have to take a significant pay cut to stay at Borussia Dortmund.
Sancho spends the second half of this season on loan at Borussia, which sold him to United three years ago for 73 million pounds.
According to The Sun, United expects to return at least 75% of its investment in Sancho, which means Jaydon will not leave Manchester for less than 55 million pounds.
But another problem is the salary of a 24—year-old Englishman in the amount of 275,000 pounds per week under a contract calculated until 2026. The Dortmund club can’t afford it anywhere near.
Even if Borussia finds money for a permanent transfer of Sancho thanks to the prize money from the Champions League, Jaydon will have to significantly curb his appetites for salary in order to stay in Dortmund.
