Manchester United have begun negotiations on the departure of their midfielder Casemiro to Saudi Arabia next summer.
The new management of United considers 32-year-old Casemiro, with his salary of 300,000 pounds a week, a burden for the club.
United are actively looking for a new midfielder, while at the same time working to get rid of the Brazilian veteran.
According to HITC, United is in direct talks with the bosses of the Saudi league. Casemiro himself is open to moving to the Middle East if tempting conditions are offered to him.
One of the terms of the Casemiro deal may be a friendly match between United and one of the Saudi teams. This does not seem to be a problem for the “red devils”, who are seeking to strengthen their relations with their Middle Eastern counterparts.
Both United and Casemiro are interested in this issue being resolved as soon as possible.
