Bukayo Saka, Arsenal’s flying winger, is adamant that the team has grown from their shortcomings at the close of last season. Following their pulsating 3-2 win over North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur, Saka emphasized the team’s newfound resilience in seeing out tight matches, a quality they lacked in the previous campaign.

While acknowledging the formidable challenge posed by Manchester City, Saka believes Arsenal can claim the Premier League crown if they stay focused and minimize errors in their remaining fixtures. “We need to be flawless for the rest of the season,” he admitted. “City are a fantastic team, but they’re not invincible. They can drop points, just like anyone else. We just have to focus on ourselves and see where it takes us.”

Saka continued, “The margin for error is slim. But this time around, we have experience on our side. We’ve learned from last year’s shortcomings. We’re ready for the final push.”

The winger pointed to the dramatic win over Tottenham as a testament to their newfound resolve. “We showed that today. Maybe last season, this would have ended in a draw. Today, we proved we have the experience to come away from a high-pressure match like this with all three points. I’m delighted,” Saka concluded, as quoted by the Evening Standard.
