Manchester City coxswain Josep Guardiola expressed confidence that Arsenal will beat Everton on Sunday.
Ahead of the final round of the Premier League, City are leading by two points from the chasing Arsenal.
The “citizens” themselves play on Sunday against West Ham, and Guardiola sets up his players only to win, because the “gunners”, according to Josep, will definitely win their match.
“When you play against West Ham, it requires a lot from you, and you have to do these things perfectly. That’s the only thing on my mind.”
“I told my players that in the final two or three matches there will no longer be anything like Aston Villa winning at the Emirates or Crystal Palace winning away at Liverpool. It won’t happen again.”
“At the moment, our fate is in our hands. But if we expect them (Arsenal) to lose points again, then it’s a mistake.”
“If you thought Arsenal would lose at Old Trafford, then you shouldn’t. If you think Everton will get anything on Sunday, then it’s in vain.”
“This is not going to happen. Against Crystal Palace, Wolverhampton, Fulham and Tottenham, we did what we had to do, and now we have the last match left. That’s why the players know: either we win, or Arsenal will become the champion,” Guardiola was quoted as saying by The Guardian.
