Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta has spoken out about the unrealized moment of Tottenham captain Song Hyun-min in the match against Manchester City.
Last Tuesday, City won 0-2 away at Tottenham, which pushed Arsenal from the top of the Premier League before the final round.
When the score in the match at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium was 0:1, Son went one-on-one with the goalkeeper of the “citizens” Stefan Ortega, but he deflected the opponent’s kick with his foot.
However, Arteta does not feel any negativity towards Son because of this misfire, citing the example of the great basketball player Michael Jordan, who also made mistakes.
“If I had to choose a player in the Premier League for this moment, it would be him (Son).”
“Michael Jordan explained many times how many times he could make a shot to win, and he didn’t always manage to do it. This is the beauty of sports, so what can you do,” Arteta is quoted as saying by The Independent.
