Chelsea have improved their offer to buy 17-year-old Palmeiras winger Estevao Willian to 65 million euros (56 million pounds).
Last week it became known that Chelsea is winning the fight for Estevao, having reached an agreement with the player himself on the terms of a personal contract.
Therefore, Chelsea is now focused on reaching a compromise with Palmeiras on the Brazilian junior, who is also wanted by Arsenal, Barcelona and Real Madrid.
According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, Palmeiras rejected Chelsea’s starting offer of 32 million euros (27.5 million pounds) plus 25 million euros in bonuses (21.5 million pounds).
Now Chelsea has returned with an improved offer and is ready to pay 65 million euros (56 million pounds) for Estevao, including bonuses. The Blues will also allow Willian to stay at Palmeiras until his 18th birthday.
