For the first time in 13 years, Chelsea is increasing the cost of season tickets to Stamford Bridge.
For their first two seasons, Chelsea’s new owners have frozen season ticket prices, thanking fans for their dedication during a difficult time for the club.
However, rising costs and a difficult situation with compliance with the rules of financial fair play still forced Chelsea to take an unpopular measure.
According to The Telegraph, the price increase was five percent — less than many Blue fans had feared. Starting from the 2024/25 season, the most affordable season ticket for Stamford Bridge will cost 787.50 pounds instead of the previous 750 pounds.
Even with the price increase, Chelsea’s season tickets remain much more affordable than those of their neighbors Tottenham and Arsenal, who — along with Manchester United and Liverpool — have also raised prices.
