Brentford head coach Thomas Frank reacted to the rumors about Manchester United and said he was very happy at his club.
Earlier in May, The Telegraph reported that Frank would be a serious candidate for the Manchester United job if the Red Devils decide to turn down the services of Eric Ten Haga at the end of the season.
Frank does not undertake to guess how his future will turn out, but the Danish specialist appreciates what he has at Brentford.
“Can I realize my ambitions at Brentford? I don’t see why not. I think ambition is a lot of things.”
“You never know what will happen in the future. Maybe I’ll stay here for the rest of my time in football. Will I go to another club? Maybe this would be a good option too. But you never know.”
“All I know is that I am very happy here. My ambition is this: how can I make the club perfect? How can we try to win anything? How can we go against the forecasts and qualify for European competitions at least once? You never know, and I don’t want to set any goals.”
“There is a good culture here. There is a good atmosphere here. We are striving in the same direction, we have cohesion. Although this does not mean that my work is stress-free.”
“However, there are a lot of good things here. I think sometimes you need to appreciate what you have,” Frank is quoted as saying by the Evening Standard.
