Monaco bought defender Thilo Kerer from West Ham for 9.5 million pounds.
Kerer has never been included in West Ham’s starting line-up in the first half of this Premier League season, so in January Tilo agreed to move to Monaco on loan.
Kerer has established himself as a key player for Monaco, and today the French Ligue 1 club confirmed that it has used its option to buy out the 27-year-old German.
Kerer linked his future with Monaco until June 2028 and brought 9.5 million pounds to West Ham, the Evening Standard reports.
Initially, Kerer arrived at West Ham from PSG for 10 million pounds in the summer of 2022. In total, Tilo played 38 games for the Hammers, including eight in the triumphant Conference League draw for the London club last season.
