Bayern Munich head coach Thomas Tuchel will be available to Premier League clubs next summer, having failed to agree on an extension of his stay in Munich.
Bayern announced back in February that Tuchel would leave his post at the end of the season. However, the Bundesliga grandee faced huge problems looking for a replacement for Tuchel.
After several candidates refused to take Tuchel’s place, Bayern decided to reconsider their decision on Thomas, but these negotiations did not lead to anything.
“This is my last press conference as head coach of Bayern Munich. Our agreement of February remains in force. We discussed this recently, but did not agree,” Tuchel was quoted as saying by The Independent.
Earlier, the press reported that returning to the Premier League would be a priority for Tuchel if he left Munich. Thomas is being wooed by Manchester United and his former club Chelsea.
And if you believe the German edition of Bild, Tuchel’s representatives have already begun negotiations on the transfer of their client to United to replace Eric Ten Hag.
