Bayern Munich head coach Thomas Tuchel is ready to stay in his post if the club buys him Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes.
Bayern announced back in February that Tuchel would leave his post at the end of the season, but the Bundesliga grandee was unable to find a replacement for Thomas.
Xabi Alonso, Julian Nagelsmann and Ralf Rangnick rejected Bayern one after another, as a result of which the club decided to reconsider its decision on Tuchel.
According to The Independent, Tuchel is ready to sign a new contract with Bayern Munich if he receives guarantees about two acquisitions in the summer transfer window.
First of all, Tuchel wants the 29-year—old Fernandes – especially in light of the threat looming over Bayern Munich to lose Jamal Musial, whom Manchester City hopes to change.
In addition to the playmaker position, Tuchel wants to strengthen the support zone. The acquisition of Joao Paligny from Fulham fell through on the final day of the summer transfer window, and Thomas considers this one of the main reasons for Bayern’s winning season.
