Manchester United head coach Eric Ten Hag has promised that his team will do everything possible to defeat Manchester City in the FA Cup final.
The day before, United played their final home game of the 2023/24 season, winning 3-2 over Newcastle.
As Ten Hag promised, he did not say goodbye to the Old Trafford crowd after the match, but Eric nevertheless addressed the fans and made a promise about the Manchester Derby at Wembley on May 25.
“On behalf of the players, the staff and myself, I want to thank you all for the great support throughout this season.”
“As you know, it was a difficult season, but one thing remained unchanged. This is your support for the team.”
“But this season is not over yet. First we have to go to Brighton for three points, and then we will go to Wembley.
“And I promise you that these players will do everything — everything — to take possession of this cup and return with it to Old Trafford.
“And we are sure that you will support us there. We thank you. You are the best fans in the world. Thank you,” Ten Haga was quoted as saying by Sky Sports.
