The chances of Manchester United head coach Eric Ten Haga keeping his job are estimated as “50-50”.
Ten Hag has been under enormous pressure for several months due to unsatisfactory results, but United’s plan has always been to decide on Eric’s future only after the end of the season.
According to The Guardian, a decision on Ten Hag will be made in the next few days after the FA Cup final against Manchester City on May 25.
At the moment, Ten Haga’s chances of avoiding dismissal are 50-50, but Eric can strengthen his position by winning a trophy at Wembley.
If United decide to turn down the services of Ten Haga, whose contract expires next year, then Kieran McKenna, Thomas Frank, Thomas Tuchel, Graham Potter and Gareth Southgate will be able to apply for Eric’s place.
