Midfielder James Milner and striker Danny Welbeck have signed new contracts with Brighton.
Milner has extended his stay at Brighton until the end of next season, while Welbeck’s new deal runs until June 2026.
Earlier, Brighton also confirmed that the contract of midfielder Adam Lallana, which expires at the end of this season, will not be extended.
Milner, 38, joined Brighton from Liverpool as a free agent last summer and has since played 20 matches.
Milner is now the second Premier League record holder in the number of matches played (634), second only to Gareth Barry (653).
As for the 33-year-old Welbeck, he also got to Brighton for free, having moved from Arsenal in 2020. Since then, Danny has scored 25 goals in 123 games for the Seagulls.
