Manchester United’s teammates doubt that their captain Bruno Fernandes will stay at the club next season.
Fernandes has been a key United player since his transfer four and a half years ago, and was confirmed as captain of the Red Devils last summer.
However, the Manchester Evening News claims that the 29-year-old Fernandes will be open to a change of scenery if United fail to qualify for European competitions next season.
Just the other day, the press reported interest in Fernandes from Saudi clubs, but Bruno will have options in Europe. Bayern Munich and Inter want to get the Portuguese midfielder.
It is assumed that Fernandes will also be happy to stay at United, but if a big offer is received about Bruno, the red devils may not be able to resist.
Let’s add that Fernandes has a contract until 2026, in addition, United has an option to extend it for 12 months.
