The rookie of the San Diego MLS is ready to make a tempting offer to Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne.
Despite spending several months in the infirmary, De Bruyne has been performing superbly this season. In the Premier League alone, Kevin scored four goals and provided nine assists.
However, De Bruyne will turn 33 next month, and only one full year remains from the contract of the Belgian national team player.
According to HITC, City have already made it clear to De Bruyne that they are ready to discuss a possible separation next summer if Kevin wants to finish his career somewhere else.
Previously, De Bruyne was persistently wooed to Saudi Arabia, but San Diego could become a more attractive option for Kevin – the former Chelsea midfielder is known as a big fan of America.
San Diego became the most expensive franchise ever to join the MLS, paying half a billion dollars as an entry fee to the North American League.
San Diego will start playing in the MLS only in 2025, but the California club has already built a new stadium and is currently busy completing the squad.
