Arsenal defender William Saliba is confident that Tottenham will give Manchester City a fight on Tuesday night.
On Tuesday, City will arrive in North London to play Tottenham, and it depends on this match whether the citizens will retain the initiative in the championship race for the final round, when the title holder will be determined.
Tottenham can do a huge favor to their Arsenal neighbors, who are fighting City in absentia, and William has no doubt that this trip will not be easy for the citizens.
“They will try to win. Their fans don’t want them to beat City, but they are good fighters, so they will try their best to win.”
“I don’t think it (Arsenal’s eventual championship) changes anything for the Tottenham players because they want to play in the Champions League next season.”
Tottenham have a very good team. Our matches against them were not easy. I hope they will show their best game. Our whole team will be cheering for Tottenham on Tuesday. Let’s pray about Tuesday.”
“I hope it will be a good week. Today we have done our job. Next week we have to do our job again, so let’s see,” Salib was quoted as saying by the Evening Standard.
