The agent of Manchester United-owned midfielder Donny Van De Beek has ruled out his client’s transfer to another Premier League club.
Having played only 21 minutes for United in the first half of this season, Van de Beek went on loan to Eintracht for the second half.
Van de Beek’s business at Eintracht is not much better. The 27-year-old Dutchman took part in only eight matches and already knows that the Bundesliga club will not use its option to buy out for 9.5 million pounds.
Agent Guido Albers is determined to find his client a new club in one of the leading European leagues, but Donny will not try to prove himself in the Premier League again.
Eintracht still owns the buyout option until June 30, but they are not going to use it. He will return to Manchester United. We are now discussing our next steps.”
“The Premier League doesn’t look like a good choice for him right now. In any case, he will not return to Ajax. I prefer to go to Spain, Italy or France. If I can send him to Spain or Italy, that would be great.”
“He has to go to a club where he will play number 10, like he played at Ajax. There he showed what a great player he can be,” Albers told ESPN.
