Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo is close to joining Newcastle as a free agent.
Adarabioyo, 26, has played 116 games for Fulham since his move from Manchester City in 2020, making significant progress during that time.
Available without compensation, Adarabioyo looks like an attractive target for many Premier League clubs, including Liverpool, Manchester United and Tottenham.
According to the Daily Mail, over the past week, representatives of Adarabioyo have held a number of negotiations with interested clubs, and at the moment it is Newcastle that looks the most likely destination for Tosin.
Adarabioyo’s invitation would help Newcastle cope with the loss of Sven Botman and Jamaal Lascelles, who will miss the start of the new season with serious injuries.
In addition to Adarabioyo, Newcastle continues to fight for Bournemouth defender Lloyd Kelly, whose contract also expires at the end of the season.
