Crystal Palace are ready to consider selling midfielder Adam Wharton in the summer if they receive a major offer.
Wharton only joined Palace on February 1, having moved from Blackburn on a deal worth 22.5 million pounds, including a guaranteed amount of 18 million pounds.
The 20-year-old Englishman has established himself as a key player in Oliver Glasner’s team, which has made a rapid breakthrough from the bottom of the Premier League table, winning five of the last six matches.
Wharton’s success has attracted the attention of a number of big clubs, including those outside England. Among them are Bayern Munich and Chelsea, who watched Adam back in the Championship.
According to talkSPORT, Palace allows the sale of Wharton, but, as in the case of Eberechi Eze and Michael Olise, it will take a large sum of money to convince the Eagles to let their rising star go.
