Arsenal striker Kai Havertz has revealed how head coach Mikel Arteta changed his game.
For a long time, the purchase of Havertz from Chelsea for 65 million pounds looked like a transfer failure for Arsenal, but in the second half of the season, Kai just looks like a different player.
Havertz has scored eight goals and provided five assists in the last 12 Premier League matches, and the 24-year-old German is grateful to Arteta, who helped him gain confidence when playing on the edge.
“Arteta’s main advice? If I choose one thing, it will be advice that I should feel confident in someone else’s penalty area. He told me that many times, and it strengthened my confidence.”
“He has developed my game significantly. He completely changed my vision of the game and taught me things I didn’t know before, as well as other little details. Every little detail on the field matters, and every player must play their role 100 percent, otherwise you will not succeed,” Football quotes Havertz.London.
