Bayern Munich head coach Thomas Tuchel said he had not been in contact with Manchester United or any other club.
Tuchel has known since February that he will have to vacate the Bayern coaching bridge at the end of the season. Despite this, Thomas is in no hurry to enter into negotiations with interested clubs.
Tuchel is considered one of the favorites to replace the current United coach Eric Ten Hag, but the 50-year-old German first plans to talk with his coaching staff.
“There have been no negotiations with other clubs so far. My situation has been clear since February.”
“There is nothing that I would like to discuss publicly here, and no decision has been made (about Tuchel’s future). I have to work it out with my coaching staff. So it won’t be a completely selfish decision. We will do it quietly in the coming weeks,” Tuchel was quoted as saying by the Daily Mirror.
