Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has admitted that uncertainty about his future is hindering his work.
In recent months, the press has been continuously speculating about the possible dismissal of Pochettino, naming Jose Mourinho, Thomas Tuchel and Ruben Amorim as his possible replacements.
It doesn’t bother Pochettino at all, but Mauricio feels that people around him are being influenced by these rumors.
“This is an instability in which we (Pochettino’s staff) are comfortable working. We will always try our best to help. It is true that in recent months this issue (with Pochettino’s future) has always arisen.”
“The rumors need to be stopped. If this is not true, but there are rumors anyway, then they are there for some purpose.”
“You ask, does this affect me? It doesn’t affect me. Does this affect the people who work with us? I think so, because in the end you can end the rumors by firing me, so it’s not a problem. It happens in many clubs,” Pochettino was quoted as saying by the Evening Standard.
