Chelsea winger Cole Palmer and Everton coach Sean Dyche were named the best player and the best coach, respectively, in the Premier League at the end of April.
The 22-year-old Palmer had a great April, scoring seven goals and giving one assist. With his hat-trick, Cole upset Manchester United, and then made a poker game against Everton.
Thus, Palmer became the first Chelsea representative to be recognized as the Premier League Player of the Month since Eden Hazard in September 2018.
In the fight for this award, the young Englishman was ahead of Bruno Fernandes, Josko Guardiola, Kai Havertz, Jean-Philippe Matet and Jordan Pickford.
And the Coach of the Month was Dyche, whose Everton went through April with figures of four wins, one draw and one defeat, keeping their gates locked four times.
Among these four victories was the first home success in the last 14 years against the neighbors from Liverpool (2-0). Thanks to this breakthrough, the Toffees secured themselves from relegation from the Premier League.
Dyche is recognized as the best coach of the Premier League at the end of the month for the third time in his career. This time Sean was ahead of Mikel Arteta and Josep Guardiola.
The previous Everton coach to take this award was Carlo Ancelotti in September 2020.
