The Premier League has announced the names of eight players nominated for the title of the best in the 2023/24 season.
The best player will be determined by adding the votes of a commission of football experts and the votes of fans, for whom the Premier League holds a vote on its official website.
The fans’ voting will last until Monday, May 13, and the winner will be announced on Saturday, May 18.
The current champion represented by Manchester City is represented among the nominees by midfielder Phil Foden and striker Erling Holand. Arsenal’s captain Martin Edegore and midfielder Declan Rice are here.
Also on the list are Newcastle striker Alexander Isak, Chelsea winger Cole Palmer, Liverpool captain Virgil Van Dijk and Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins.
Phil Fodn with Erling Holland from City, Bukayo Saka with William Saliba from Arsenal, Alexander Isak from Newcastle, Cobby Mainu from Manchester United, Cole Palmer from Chelsea and Destiny Udoji are competing for the title of the best young player (under 23 years old at the start of the season) from Tottenham.
