Chelsea co-owner Todd Bely noted the progress of Mauricio Pochettino’s team in recent matches.
Chelsea have won both of their last Premier League matches – against Tottenham (2-0) and West Ham (5-0). But even more than the results, Beli was pleased with the “beautiful football” that the Blues managed to show.
“We saw that in the last two and a half matches — in the second half against Aston Villa, against Tottenham and West Ham — we played just beautiful football.”
“He was so agile and organized, with so many punches. This is exactly how we imagined that we would come out of defense, build the game and move around the field. In these two and a half matches, you could start to see what we were working on together.”
“Even the intonation of the commentators has changed in these two and a half matches. I’ve never seen anything change so quickly,” Beli is quoted as saying by the Evening Standard.
