Bayern Munich head coach Thomas Tuchel has confirmed that he will not stay in Munich, also admitting his sympathies for the Premier League.
Even if Bayern manage to end this season with a victory in the Champions League, Tuchel does not expect the German grandee to change his decision to part with him.
Tuchel has been linked with a job at Manchester United, and Thomas hints that his return to the Premier League is possible.
“Where will I be next season? It is very, very, very unlikely that it will be Bayern Munich, because we have an agreement, and at the moment there is no reason to doubt this agreement.”
“We took this position, and this initiative came from the club, so that suits me.”
“I don’t need it for extra motivation, because I’m always determined to win and I’m always thinking about how to improve the team or how to improve my coaching.”
“Will it affect anything where I will be next season? Maybe I’ll rest. Let’s see, let’s see.”
“It’s no secret that I liked Chelsea, I liked England, I liked the Premier League. It was a very, very special time, and I remember it very well,” Tuchel was quoted as saying by the Evening Standard.
