Chelsea are ready to use their winger Raheem Sterling to acquire Michael Olise from Crystal Palace.
Despite the fact that Manchester United is considered the favorite in the fight for the 22-year-old Olise, Michael is also interesting to a number of other clubs.
As TBR Football reports in an exclusive article, Chelsea, which was close to buying Michael last summer, is among the contenders for Olis.
Last summer, Olise still stayed at Palace and then signed a new contract, which raised the cost of his buyout beyond 60 million pounds.
Chelsea are in a tight spot due to the rules of the financial fair play of the Premier League, so they are ready to use 29-year-old Sterling as a bargaining chip in the Olisa deal.
Chelsea had previously tried to get rid of Sterling, but he refused to leave for Saudi Arabia. Raheem wants to stay in London, so the Palace option might suit him.
Sterling has started this season well, but has made only four appearances in Chelsea’s Premier League starting line-up since December. Raheem found himself behind Noni Madueke, whom head coach Mauricio Pochettino prefers to use on the right wing of the attack.
