Manchester United head coach Eric Ten Haag is no longer applying for a job at Bayern Munich.
Earlier in May, the press reported that Bayern Munich was in talks with Ten Haga’s entourage, and Eric was ready to lead the German grandee if United refused his services at the end of the season.
Christian Falk from Bild confirms that Bayern Munich sports director Max Eberl has indeed been in contact with representatives of Ten Haga, but these negotiations will not be continued.
Thus, Ten Hag can still be fired from United, but Bayern Munich will not invite him.
Now Bayern’s priority candidate is Hansi Flick, who has already coached the club with Allianz Rental from 2019 to 2021, having made the treble in the 2019/20 season.
