Winger Cole Palmer was named the best Chelsea player in the 2023/24 season — both according to the players of his team and according to the fans of the Blues.
Palmer’s purchase from Manchester City for 42.5 million pounds on the final day of the summer transfer window was a great success for Chelsea.
Palmer established himself as the leader of Mauricio Pochettino’s team, becoming only the third player under the age of 21 (at the start of the season) to complete 30+ effective actions during the Premier League season.
Taking into account all the competitions, Palmer scored 24 goals and gave 13 assists, which was appreciated by both the 22-year-old Englishman’s locker room partners and Chelsea fans.
Previously, Chelsea legends such as Eden Hazard, Thiago Silva and Willian managed to win two of these awards at the same time.
