Manchester United head coach Eric Ten Haag said he still considers himself the right person for the job.
The day before, United suffered their 13th defeat this Premier League season, losing 4-0 to Crystal Palace and finding themselves in eighth place in the Premier League.
Clouds continue to gather over Ten Hag, but Eric does not doubt his qualifications, and blames injuries for the team’s problems.
“Am I the right person for this job? Absolutely. When the right players are available, we have a good squad. We are deprived of almost the entire line of defense, and then we have problems.”
“I will continue to fight. I’m preparing the team in the best way I can. It wasn’t good enough, I have to take responsibility for it, but I will find the energy and prepare them for the match on Saturday,” Ten Hag told Sky Sports.
