Manchester United manager Eric Ten Haag called the 4-0 defeat by Crystal Palace the lowest point for his team this season.
On Monday night, Palace outplayed United in a dominant manner and thus did the double against the Red Devils in the 2023/24 Premier League season.
Ten Hag admits that United have not been so bad in this campaign. Eric feels that the victory was easy for the Eagles this evening.
“Yes, this is the low point of our season. We let them score their goals very easily. Considering how we prepare our team, the first goal is especially frustrating.”
“The problem was with the team playing. We made big mistakes, didn’t follow the plan or the script. We made individual mistakes, even though we had to insure each other. We let each other down.”
“Of course, we have to add more. We are not living up to expectations. We don’t act the way we want to, and it’s no good. This is only our fourth defeat in 2024, because usually the team sticks to the plan. We were an unyielding opponent in many matches, but today we were easy to beat. The fans supported us from the first minute to the end. They see the problems we have,” Ten Haga was quoted as saying by The Guardian.
