Bayern Munich is considering Manchester United head coach Eric Ten Haga as a serious candidate to replace Thomas Tuchel.
Earlier this week, the German press reported that Ten Hag is one of four names on the shortlist of Bayern Munich sports director Max Eberl to replace Tuchel, who is leaving Munich at the end of the season.
According to the Daily Mirror, there is serious interest from Bayern Munich in Ten Hag, despite all Eric’s difficulties this season.
Ten Hag speaks fluent German, coached the Bayern Munich second team from 2013 to 2015, knows the philosophy of the club, and is also familiar with the leadership of Munich.
Bayern bosses do not attach importance to United’s unsuccessful season and even admire Ten Haga’s work with young players like Cobby Mainu, Alejandro Garnacho and Rasmus Heilund.
If Ten Hag moves to Bayern Munich, he will be able to work with striker Harry Kane, whom, by his own admission, he tried to buy from Tottenham last summer.
