The win sees Bayern move six points clear of Dortmund at the top of the Bundesliga table. Lewandowski’s goalscoring exploits continue to be a key factor in Bayern’s success, as the striker has now netted 26 times in all competitions this season. Dortmund, meanwhile, will be disappointed to have let victory slip away. The defeat leaves them in third place, behind Union Berlin on goal difference. In other Bundesliga news, RB Leipzig defeated Wolfsburg 3-0 to move into fourth place, while Eintracht Frankfurt beat Mainz 2-1 to climb to sixth.
