Rogers was pronounced dead at the scene by the Ottawa County Coroner’s Office. Crash near Marblehead claims the life of a North Royalton woman
MARBLEHEAD, Ohio – A North Royalton woman was killed in a crash near Marblehead on Wednesday. The crash happened around 11:30 a.m. on State Route 2 near Meehan Road. The Ohio State Highway Patrol said a 2005 Honda Accord driven by a 74-year-old man from Marblehead was driving westbound on State Route 2 when it went off the right side of the road and struck a tree. The man was taken to Magruder Hospital with minor injuries. His passenger, a 74-year-old woman from North Royalton, was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
