‘Ethnic Dermatology Training Courses Will Start Soon’

The Sidemast project, funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program, aims to improve the health of migrants and ethnic minorities in Europe by developing innovative training and educational resources for healthcare professionals. As part of this project, two free online training courses on ethnic dermatology will be launched soon. These courses are designed to provide healthcare professionals with the knowledge and skills they need to effectively diagnose and manage skin conditions in patients from different ethnic backgrounds.

Course 1: Ethnic Dermatology for Primary Care Providers

This course is designed for primary care providers, such as family physicians, general practitioners, and nurses. It covers the following topics: * Skin anatomy and physiology in different ethnic groups * Common skin conditions in migrants and ethnic minorities * Cultural factors that influence skin health * Diagnosis and management of skin conditions in patients from different ethnic backgrounds

Course 2: Advanced Ethnic Dermatology for Dermatologists
