Маурисио Почеттино Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has said he too needs to be asked if he wants to stay at the club.

The end of the season is approaching, which means that soon the Chelsea management will decide on further cooperation with Pochettino.

However, Pochettino warns his bosses not to forget to ask Mauricio and his staff, because they may not want to continue themselves.

“We know what kind of organization the club is creating here. The work of each of us is evaluated.”

“If we are happy, then fine. But not only the owner should be happy, not only the sports directors should be happy. We also need to ask if we are happy, because we may not be happy.”

“If we assess the situation and don’t feel happy, then we need to separate.”

“It would not be the first time that at the end of the season the coaching staff decides not to continue. But at the moment it’s the other way around.”

“They can say tomorrow, ‘Stay here.’ Or I’ll say tomorrow, “Listen, I want to leave.” So this decision is made by two sides.”

“If Chelsea doesn’t feel happy, if the sporting directors don’t feel happy, then maybe we don’t feel happy either, because we came here to do the job in a certain way, and it didn’t turn out the way we expected. Therefore, we may not feel happy.”

“I’m not saying I don’t feel happy! It’s just that they always talk about it as a decision of one side, but maybe there is a second one.”

“Maybe if we leave, it won’t be a problem, it won’t be the end of the world,” Pochettino was quoted as saying by the Evening Standard.
