Сэр Джим Рэтклифф Manchester United co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe criticized the club’s infrastructure in a letter addressed to employees.

Having bought a 27.7% stake in United, Ratcliffe actively undertook the reform of the club. Sir Jim has already made a number of key leadership changes.

And recently Ratcliffe once again visited the United training base in Carrington and the Old Trafford stadium, being shocked by the untidy appearance of many things.

Ratcliffe intends to bring all of these things up to the highest standards by communicating his plans in an email to employees.

“This week I made a two-day visit to Carrington and Old Trafford. I was very well received, as always. Thank you.”

“I did a good tour of the infrastructure. I’m afraid I was struck by the high degree of untidiness in many places. In particular, the IT department turned out to be an outright disgrace, and the locker rooms of the U-18 and U-21 teams are not much better.”

“These standards are nowhere near what we expect at Ineos. Manchester United is an elite sports organization.”

“In many ways, this is a small thing, but if an organization lacks standards and discipline, it will not succeed,” Ratcliffe’s letter reads.
