Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has described his move to England in 2013 as “one of the best decisions” of his life.
Chelsea, which Pochettino took over last summer, is already the third English club for Mauricio, who previously coached Tottenham and Southampton.
The derby against Tottenham on Thursday night will be Pochettino’s 400th match in English football during his career, and the 52-year-old Argentine is extremely happy to be working in the Premier League.
“It’s amazing. My dream has come true. I think I couldn’t imagine coming here to England and becoming a coach here, but my wife and my friend Jesus (Perez, Pochettino’s assistant) convinced me to move to Southampton.
“It was one of the best decisions of my life to go to England and enjoy this great football country. Of course, I feel very comfortable here. I feel at home,” Pochettino was quoted as saying by the BBC.
