Manchester United head coach Eric Ten Haag called rumors that his club is ready to sell out almost its entire squad “complete crap.”
Recently, there were rumors that United would be open to offers for almost every player in the coming summer, with the exception of Andre Onan, Cobby Maina and Rasmus Heilund.
However, at his press conference on Thursday, Ten Hag, whose own future remains in doubt, made it clear that he did not expect any sale of players.
“This is a joke! During the time that I have been working here, 200 players are linked with a move to Manchester United every summer, which is not true. Although we are doing some research.”
“And every summer we sell every player from our squad, which is also not true. Keep calm and be responsible when using such headlines. This is complete shit,” Ten Haga was quoted as saying by Sky Sports.
